DRIVER’S TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. INTRODUCTION

By accessing and utilizing the GoRides platform as a driver/Provider, you explicitly acknowledge and consent to adhere to the terms and conditions delineated in this agreement. Your engagement with the GoRides platform is contingent upon your acceptance and compliance with these stipulations.

2. DEFINITION
Within the confines of these Driver Terms and Conditions, the term 
• GoRides: The transportation platform operated by PGORIDES SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED.
• PGORIDES SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED: The legal entity owning and managing the GoRides platform.
• Transportation Platform: The digital infrastructure facilitating transportation services.
• Service Provider Terms and Conditions: Agreement outlining rights and obligations for drivers on GoRides.
• Services and Features: Functionalities offered on the GoRides platform.
• Agreement: Binding terms between driver/Provider and GoRides.
• Terms and Conditions: Rules governing the driver-platform relationship.
• Service Provider or Driver: Individual eligible to offer transportation services on GoRides.
• Onboarding Process: Steps required for drivers to join the platform.
• Platform: Digital environment for offering and requesting transportation services.

3. INTERPRETATION
The terms and conditions articulated herein are subject to interpretation in accordance with the laws governing the jurisdiction in which you function as a driver on the GoRides platform. It is imperative to understand and apply these terms within the legal framework relevant to your operational area, ensuring compliance with the applicable laws and regulations.

4. INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE
Scope: The scope of these terms and conditions covers the relationship between the driver and GoRides, encompassing the provision of transportation services and adherence to platform policies.
Eligibility: The ambit of these terms and conditions is expansive, encapsulating the entire spectrum of the relationship between the driver and GoRides. This includes but is not limited to, the provision of transportation services and adherence to the policies set forth by the platform. Every facet of the driver's engagement with GoRides falls within the purview of this contractual framework.
Electronic Communication: To qualify as a driver on the GoRides platform, individuals must satisfy specific eligibility criteria. This encompasses prerequisites such as possessing a valid driver's license, maintaining requisite insurance coverage, and successfully meeting the stipulated background check requirements. Compliance with these eligibility criteria is paramount for individuals aspiring to be recognized as authorized drivers on the GoRides platform.

5. MODIFICATIONS TO THE SERVICE 
GoRides retains the prerogative to effect changes, suspend, or terminate any facet of its services, encompassing features and functionalities, at its discretion and without prior notice. This provides GoRides with the flexibility to adapt its services in response to evolving circumstances, technological advancements, or strategic considerations.

6. ACCOUNT
Drivers on the GoRides platform assume the crucial responsibility of ensuring the confidentiality and security of their individual accounts, which encompasses safeguarding their login credentials. In the event of any unauthorized usage or suspicious activity detected in relation to their accounts, drivers are obligated to promptly report such incidents to GoRides. 
This reporting mechanism is imperative to facilitate swift and appropriate actions by GoRides, aimed at mitigating potential risks, preventing further unauthorized access, and addressing any breaches in the platform's security protocols. The emphasis on immediate reporting underscores the commitment to maintaining the integrity and security of individual driver accounts on the GoRides platform.

7. DRIVER ELIGIBILITY
Individuals aspiring to become drivers on the GoRides platform are required to meet stringent eligibility criteria, emphasizing the importance of possessing specific qualifications for safe and reliable transportation services. The eligibility criteria encompass:
• Valid Driver's License: Prospective drivers must possess a valid and current driver's license, demonstrating their legal authorization to operate a vehicle.
• Vehicle Registration: Drivers are required to have their vehicles appropriately registered, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and legal requirements.
• Insurance Coverage: Maintaining adequate insurance coverage for both themselves and their vehicles is a prerequisite for driver eligibility. This is crucial for ensuring the protection of both drivers and passengers in the event of unforeseen incidents.
• Additional Requirements: GoRides may specify supplementary criteria that individuals must meet to be eligible as drivers on the platform. These additional requirements could include factors such as the condition of the vehicle, adherence to safety standards, or other criteria essential for providing high-quality transportation services.
• Additionally, you are required to maintain ongoing compliance with these standards. Specifically, you represent, warrant, and affirm the following to Gorides:
• Driving Experience: You possess a minimum of two years of driving experience.
• Legal and Criminal Background:
• There are no ongoing legal proceedings against you, nor have you been convicted of:
• Driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or
• Any cognizable offence under the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, including but not limited to fraud, sexual misconduct, use of a motor vehicle in the commission of a cognizable offence, or crimes involving property damage, theft, violence, or terrorism, within the last three years.
• Challan Clearance: You have settled all outstanding challans related to the Vehicle prior to its registration on the Platform, with no pending violations at the time of integration.
By meeting these eligibility criteria, individuals ensure that they align with GoRides' commitment to facilitating safe, reliable, and high-quality transportation services. The stringent requirements underscore GoRides' dedication to maintaining a standard of excellence in its driver community and fostering a trustworthy and secure environment for both drivers and passengers.

8. VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS
Drivers play a pivotal role in ensuring that their vehicles meet the comprehensive standards set by GoRides, reflecting the platform's commitment to safety, cleanliness, and quality in transportation services. The vehicle requirements encompass various critical facets:
• Safety Standards: Vehicles must adhere to stringent safety standards to ensure the well-being of both drivers and passengers. Compliance with safety regulations and guidelines is fundamental to maintaining a secure transportation environment.
• Cleanliness: Drivers are required to uphold a standard of cleanliness within their vehicles. This includes regular cleaning to provide passengers with a comfortable and hygienic travel experience, aligning with GoRides' commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Regular Maintenance: Routine maintenance of vehicles is imperative to guarantee their optimal performance and reliability. Drivers must undertake regular inspections, servicing, and necessary repairs to ensure that their vehicles meet operational standards consistently.
Failure to Meet Requirements:
• Ineligibility for Operation: Vehicles that fall short of meeting GoRides' stipulated requirements may be deemed ineligible for operation on the platform. This underscores GoRides' dedication to upholding a standard of quality in the services provided by its drivers.
By ensuring compliance with these vehicle requirements, drivers actively contribute to GoRides' mission of providing safe, reliable, and high-quality transportation services. The emphasis on safety, cleanliness, and maintenance underscores GoRides' commitment to creating a positive and trustworthy experience for both drivers and passengers.

9. BACKGROUND CHECKS
At GoRides, the commitment to safety is paramount, and as an essential step in the onboarding process, drivers undergo thorough background checks. These checks are meticulously designed to ensure adherence to GoRides' stringent safety standards, fostering a secure and trustworthy environment for both drivers and passengers. The background checks encompass the following components:
1. Criminal Background Checks: Drivers' criminal histories are scrutinized comprehensively to identify any potential risks or concerns. This step is crucial in ensuring the safety and reliability of individuals operating on the GoRides platform. Additionally, GoRides may require police verification proof issued by the local police station. Drivers/providers must obtain this verification and submit the required document during the onboarding process or the time or ask from GoRides teams to comply with platform safety standards. 
This ensures an added layer of security for all users and maintains a trusted environment on the GoRides platform.

2. Driving History Scrutiny: An in-depth examination of the driving history of prospective drivers is conducted to assess their competence and adherence to traffic regulations. This scrutiny ensures that drivers on the platform maintain a high level of responsibility and safety during their operations.
3. Additional Screenings: Beyond criminal and driving history checks, GoRides may conduct other relevant screenings to assess various aspects of a driver's background. These screenings contribute to the overall evaluation of a driver's suitability for providing transportation services on the platform.

The purpose of these background checks is two-fold:
• Driver Accountability: By undergoing these meticulous checks, drivers demonstrate their commitment to accountability and responsibility in delivering transportation services. This accountability is a crucial component in building and maintaining trust within the GoRides community.
• Passenger Safety: The comprehensive background checks serve as a proactive measure to ensure passenger safety. By assessing the backgrounds of drivers, GoRides strives to create an environment where passengers can have confidence in the safety and reliability of the transportation services provided.
Through these background checks, GoRides underscores its dedication to creating a secure and reliable platform for shared mobility experiences, where both drivers and passengers can engage with confidence in the pursuit of safe and dependable transportation services.

10. GEOGRAPHIC RESTRICTION
Drivers explicitly acknowledge and commit to abiding by any geographic restrictions imposed by GoRides on the provision of transportation services. Adherence to these restrictions is essential for ensuring alignment with GoRides' operational guidelines and maintaining the integrity of the services provided within specified geographical areas.

11. DRIVER CONDUCT AND PROFESSIONALISM
At GoRides, we prioritize a standard of professionalism among our drivers, and their conduct is instrumental in shaping the overall experience for passengers. The commitment to professionalism is encapsulated in a defined code of conduct, encompassing various aspects that contribute to a positive and secure environment on the GoRides platform. Here are the key components of the Driver Conduct and Professionalism clause:
• Exemplary Customer Service: Drivers are expected to provide exemplary customer service to passengers. This involves fostering a friendly and respectful interaction, addressing passenger needs, and ensuring a positive and enjoyable ride experience. 
• Availability: The Driver shall not decline Service Request(s) from customers, except when absolutely necessary or under exceptional circumstances, as determined acceptable by Gorides at its sole discretion. In the event of repeated or consistent refusals of Service Requests, Gorides reserves the right to take appropriate measures, including the suspension or permanent deactivation of your account.
• Other Conditions:
In relation to the Platform, the Driver agrees to:
• Account and Vehicle Usage:
• Not authorize others to use your account on the Platform or your vehicle.
• Not assign or transfer your account to any other person or legal entity.

• Lawful Use:
• Not use the Platform for any unlawful purposes, including but not limited to sending or storing illegal material or engaging in fraudulent activities.
• Not cause nuisance, annoyance, or inconvenience to customers, Gorides, or any other person while using the Platform.

• Prohibition on Intoxicants:
• Not consume alcohol, drugs, or other illegal substances, nor be under their influence, prior to or during service provision.
• Gorides enforces a zero-tolerance policy on the use of alcohol, drugs, or intoxicants by drivers. Customers may report such behavior to Gorides, which will result in strict action, including suspension or permanent deactivation of your account while the matter is investigated.

• Platform Integrity and Security:
• Not interfere with the proper operation of the Platform, or use any device, software, or tool (such as viruses, trojans, or worms) to damage, disrupt, or affect its functionality, data, or other systems connected to it.
• Not engage in actions that overload the Platform’s infrastructure, such as denial-of-service attacks or spamming.
• Not copy, distribute, or share any content from the Platform without the written consent of Gorides.
• Not access the Platform using unauthorized or incompatible devices.
• Content Restrictions:
• Not upload, share, or publish any information that:
• Belongs to someone else or is shared without the appropriate permissions.
• Is offensive, obscene, harassing, harmful, racially or ethnically objectionable, invasive of privacy, or promotes enmity between communities.
• Infringes on patents, trademarks, copyrights, or other intellectual property rights.
• Endangers children or is harmful to minors.
• Contains commercial material or advertisements without permission.
• Misleads or deceives recipients about the origin of the content or spreads misinformation identified as false or misleading.
• Impersonates another person or entity.
• Contains harmful software, including viruses or other malicious code.
• Threatens the unity, integrity, security, or sovereignty of India or public order, incites cognizable offences, or insults other nations.
• Relates to unapproved online games or promotes online gaming that is not compliant with current laws.

• Compliance and Enforcement:
• Gorides reserves the right to immediately terminate your use of the Platform if you violate any of the above rules in Clauses above.
• Drivers are restricted to operating on the Platform for a maximum of 12 hours per day, followed by a mandatory 10-hour break before resuming services.
• Drivers must provide identity documents for police verification and background checks, which may be conducted by Gorides or an appointed third party.
• Participation in a 30-hour induction training program is mandatory before onboarding with Gorides, along with any additional training or refresher courses required by law or as deemed necessary by Gorides.
• Drivers must complete a full medical examination, including an eye test, through a medical institution designated by Gorides. The company will bear the cost of this examination.
• Gorides or its personnel may conduct spot checks of vehicles to ensure compliance with these terms and conditions, as well as with applicable laws.
• Vehicle Maintenance: To maintain a high standard of professionalism, drivers must ensure that their vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and comply with safety standards. Regular upkeep and cleanliness contribute to the overall comfort and satisfaction of passengers.
• Adherence to Laws and Regulations: Drivers are obligated to strictly adhere to all relevant laws and regulations governing transportation services. This includes but is not limited to traffic laws, licensing requirements, and any other legal obligations pertinent to providing transportation services.
By embodying these principles of conduct and professionalism, drivers play a pivotal role in creating a positive and secure experience for passengers on the GoRides platform. The adherence to these standards enhances the overall quality of service, contributing to the reputation of GoRides as a reliable and customer-centric transportation provider.

12. ACCEPTANCE OF RIDE REQUESTS
When drivers engage with the GoRides platform and accept ride requests, they enter into a commitment to provide transportation services to passengers in a punctual and accountable manner. This clause outlines the responsibilities and expectations associated with the acceptance of ride requests on the GoRides platform:
• Punctuality and Accountability: Drivers are obligated to fulfill their commitment to passengers by ensuring timely and accountable service delivery. This involves promptly responding to ride requests and arriving at the specified location in a timely manner.
• Availability and Responsiveness: Drivers should only accept ride requests when they are genuinely available to provide the requested service. Accepting requests when unavailable may lead to delays, inconvenience to passengers, and a disruption in the efficient functioning of the GoRides platform.
• Seamless Passenger Experience: The overarching goal is to ensure a seamless and reliable experience for passengers. By accepting ride requests responsibly, drivers contribute to the smooth functioning of the platform and the satisfaction of passengers who rely on GoRides for their transportation needs.

13. EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY
GoRides explicitly disclaims any liability for losses, damages, or harm resulting from the use of its platform and services. This disclaimer of liability extends to the maximum extent permitted by law. While GoRides strives to provide a secure and reliable platform, users are apprised that certain limitations to liability may apply, in accordance with legal provisions.

14. FAIR PRICING AND FARE STRUCTURE
Fair pricing and the fare structure for drivers operating on the GoRides platform:
• Adherence to Pricing Policies: Drivers on the GoRides platform are committed to strictly adhering to the pricing policies and fare structures established by GoRides. This commitment emphasizes transparency and fairness in the pricing of transportation services provided to passengers.
• Equitable and Transparent Pricing: The overarching principle is the paramount importance of fair and transparent pricing. Drivers acknowledge the significance of setting prices that reflect the value of the service provided while ensuring passengers are charged reasonably and without ambiguity.
• Building Trust and Satisfaction: Fair pricing is identified as the bedrock for building and maintaining trust and satisfaction among passengers. Drivers recognize that transparent and equitable pricing practices contribute to a positive relationship with passengers, fostering trust and loyalty to the GoRides platform.
• Positive Passenger Experience: The commitment to fair pricing extends beyond financial considerations. It is an integral part of creating a positive and trustworthy environment for passengers, ensuring that they receive reliable and reasonably priced transportation services.
By embracing fair pricing and adhering to established fare structures, drivers play a pivotal role in enhancing the overall experience for passengers on the GoRides platform. This commitment contributes to a positive reputation for both individual drivers and the platform as a whole, fostering a sense of reliability and trust among passengers who choose GoRides for their transportation needs.

15. SAFETY MEASURES
Ensuring the safety of passengers is a primary responsibility bestowed upon drivers during the entire duration of a ride. Safety measures for drivers on the GoRides platform:
1. Primary Responsibility for Passenger Safety: Drivers operating on the GoRides platform acknowledge that ensuring the safety of passengers is a paramount responsibility. This commitment is upheld throughout the entire duration of a ride, emphasizing the importance of creating a secure environment for passengers.
2. Adherence to Traffic Laws: Drivers commit to strict adherence to all traffic laws and regulations. This includes but is not limited to speed limits, traffic signals, and any other legal requirements governing road safety. This commitment ensures that passengers are transported in a lawful and secure manner.
3. Maintenance of a Secure Driving Environment: Drivers understand the significance of maintaining a secure driving environment. This involves promoting a calm and focused atmosphere within the vehicle, minimizing distractions, and prioritizing the safety of both passengers and other road users.
4. Implementation of Necessary Precautions: Drivers are obligated to implement necessary precautions to shield passengers from potential harm. This encompasses actions such as using seatbelts, following proper loading and unloading procedures, and taking proactive measures to address any emerging safety concerns during the ride.
5. Contributing to a Secure and Comfortable Experience: The commitment to safety measures is not solely a legal obligation but is integral to creating a secure and comfortable transportation experience for passengers. Drivers recognize that prioritizing safety contributes to the overall positive perception of the GoRides platform.
By upholding these safety measures, drivers on the GoRides platform actively contribute to the establishment of a transportation service that prioritizes passenger safety and well-being. This commitment fosters trust among passengers, ensuring they can rely on GoRides for secure and comfortable travel experiences.

16. TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS
In instances of typographical errors, such as those related to pricing, that may occur on the GoRides platform, the platform reserves the right to rectify such errors and make adjustments to charges accordingly. This provision is in place to rectify inadvertent mistakes promptly, ensuring accuracy and fairness in the pricing displayed to users.

17. INSURANCE COVERAGE
To ensure the safety and well-being of passengers, drivers are mandated to maintain sufficient insurance coverage for both themselves and their vehicles, complying with both legal requirements and GoRides' policies. This measure serves as a safeguard in the unfortunate event of an accident or incident occurring during a ride, offering protection to passengers and drivers alike. By upholding these insurance standards, drivers contribute to the overall safety and security of the transportation services provided through the GoRides platform.

18. FEEDBACK AND RATINGS
Drivers on the GoRides platform recognize the pivotal role that passenger feedback and ratings play in shaping their reputation and continued eligibility to operate. Acknowledging the significance of these reviews, drivers are encouraged to consistently deliver outstanding service to garner positive ratings and reviews from passengers. This commitment to excellence not only enhances the driver's standing within the platform but also contributes to an overall positive and satisfactory user experience for passengers.

19. NO RESPONSIBILITY
GoRides explicitly disclaims any responsibility for third-party links, content, or services accessed through its platform. Drivers are advised to use such links at their own risk, and GoRides bears no liability for any consequences or issues arising from interactions with third-party content or services. This disclaimer underscores the importance of drivers exercising caution and discretion when engaging with external links or content via the GoRides platform.

20. PRIVACY AND DATA SECURITY
Drivers operating on the GoRides platform are required to comprehend and adhere to the privacy and data security policies established by GoRides. This commitment encompasses safeguarding the confidentiality of passenger information and utilizing it exclusively for the purpose of delivering transportation services. By upholding these privacy and data security standards, drivers actively contribute to creating a secure and trustworthy environment for both themselves and passengers, fostering a sense of privacy and confidence in the use of the GoRides platform.

21. THIRD-PARTY LINKS
It's important for drivers to recognize that the GoRides platform may feature links to third-party websites or services. In acknowledging this, GoRides explicitly disclaims any control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of these third-party entities. Drivers are urged to exercise caution and discretion when navigating external links, as they fall outside the purview of GoRides' control and oversight. This disclaimer underscores the need for drivers to independently assess the content and policies of third-party sites or services accessed through the platform.

22. PERSONAL INFORMATION AND PRIVACY POLICY
The collection and utilization of personal information by GoRides are governed by the terms and conditions outlined in its Privacy Policy. Drivers explicitly agree to comply with and abide by the provisions detailed in the Privacy Policy, which delineates the processes and practices governing the handling of their personal information. This agreement ensures that drivers are informed and aligned with GoRides' approach to privacy, promoting transparency and responsible data handling within the platform.

23. ACCOUNT SUSPENSION OR TERMINATION
GoRides retains the authority to suspend or terminate driver accounts under circumstances of non-compliance with the stipulated terms and conditions within this agreement. Instances that may warrant such actions encompass unsafe driving practices, instances of misconduct, or the failure to meet the defined eligibility requirements. This provision serves as a protective measure to ensure the integrity and safety of the GoRides platform and its community, emphasizing the importance of adherence to established guidelines for continued participation.

24. ERRORS, INACCURACIES, AND OMISSIONS
GoRides acknowledges the possibility of errors, inaccuracies, or omissions within its platform and reserves the right to rectify such issues promptly. This extends to areas such as service availability, pricing, and descriptions. By doing so, GoRides ensures a more accurate and reliable platform, fostering transparency and maintaining the trust of both drivers and passengers. This provision emphasizes the platform's commitment to rectifying any unintentional discrepancies and providing users with up-to-date and precise information.

25. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES; LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
GoRides explicitly presents its platform and services on an "as is" basis, disclaiming all warranties. In alignment with this, GoRides emphasizes that it shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. This disclaimer is a protective measure intended to delineate the limitations of liability, acknowledging that the use of the platform is at the discretion and risk of the user. It sets clear expectations regarding the scope of responsibility assumed by GoRides in delivering its services.

26. COPYRIGHT AND TRADEMARK
The content featured on the GoRides platform, inclusive of logos and trademarks, is safeguarded by copyright and trademark laws. Unauthorized utilization of this content is strictly prohibited, emphasizing the importance of respecting intellectual property rights. This provision underscores GoRides' commitment to protecting its brand identity and proprietary materials, setting clear boundaries on the use of its copyrighted and trademarked content.

27. INDEMNIFICATION
Drivers commit to indemnify and absolve GoRides, its affiliates, and partners from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from or connected to the driver's utilization of the platform. This indemnification clause serves as a protective measure, ensuring that drivers bear responsibility for any legal consequences or financial implications resulting from their actions on the GoRides platform. It emphasizes the shared responsibility between the driver and GoRides in maintaining a secure and reliable transportation network.

28. MISCELLANEOUS
The Miscellaneous section covers various aspects, including severability, termination, entire agreement, dispute resolution, arbitration, governing laws, force majeure, and assignment.

Severability: In the event that any provision within these terms and conditions is considered invalid or unenforceable, it is understood that the remaining provisions shall remain fully effective and enforceable. This ensures that the overall integrity and enforceability of the agreement are maintained, even if certain provisions are deemed invalid.
Termination: GoRides retains the right to terminate driver accounts as outlined in the Termination clause. This termination clause delineates the circumstances under which such actions may be taken, providing transparency regarding the grounds for account termination. 
Terms: The terms specified in this agreement persist in their effectiveness until either the driver or GoRides chooses to terminate the agreement. This clause establishes the temporal framework within which the agreement operates, allowing for termination by either party at their discretion.

Effect of Termination: Upon the termination of the agreement, drivers are required to cease all utilization of the GoRides platform, and there may be a loss of access to certain features. This clause defines the practical implications of termination on the driver's continued use of the platform.
Entire Agreement: These terms and conditions collectively constitute the entire agreement between the driver and GoRides, surpassing and replacing any preceding agreements. This provision emphasizes the comprehensive nature of the current agreement, rendering prior agreements null and void.
Dispute Resolution: Disputes arising from or connected to these terms will be addressed through arbitration, following the outlined procedures in the Dispute Resolution clause. This ensures a fair and structured process for resolving disagreements between drivers and GoRides.
Arbitration: Arbitration proceedings will adhere to the rules set forth by the designated arbitration authority. This clause establishes the procedural framework for the resolution of disputes, promoting efficiency and impartiality.
Governing Laws: These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from the use of the Website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
Force Majeure: GoRides is not held liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from events beyond its reasonable control. This acknowledges and mitigates the impact of unforeseen and uncontrollable events on the execution of the agreement.
Assignment: Drivers are prohibited from assigning or transferring their rights or obligations under this agreement without the prior written consent of GoRides. This clause ensures that any changes in rights or responsibilities are subject to approval, maintaining the integrity of the agreement.

29. GoRides Refund and Cancellation Policy
At GoRides, we are committed to delivering a seamless, reliable, and transparent transportation experience. We understand that plans can change, and refunds or cancellations may sometimes be required. Below is our comprehensive Refund and Cancellation Policy, which applies to both passengers and providers to ensure a fair and smooth process for everyone.

o Cancellation Timeframe: Passengers must cancel bookings within the specified timeframes for each service type to be eligible for a refund or to avoid cancellation fees. These timeframes may vary based on the nature of the service.
o Refund and Cancellation Fees: Refunds for these services are subject to applicable fees or deductions based on the timing of the cancellation. Non-refundable deposits or charges will apply for cancellations beyond the allowable period.
o Cancellation Process: Cancellations can be initiated through the GoRides app, by contacting customer support, or by submitting an email request. Step-by-step instructions will be provided during the booking process.
o Refund Processing Time: Refunds are typically processed within 15 business days after approval. Any delays due to technical or unforeseen circumstances will be communicated promptly.
o Exceptions: In cases of emergencies, such as natural disasters or unforeseen events, passengers may qualify for a full or partial refund outside the standard policy upon submission of appropriate documentation or evidence.
• Auto Services:
Passengers can cancel an auto booking up to 30 minutes before the scheduled pickup time without incurring any cancellation fees.
• Late Cancellations:
If a passenger cancels a booking less than the specified time before the pickup, a cancellation fee may apply. The fee varies depending on the service type and location.
• No-Show:
If a passenger does not show up at the pickup point within 5-10 minutes of the scheduled pickup time and does not cancel the booking, a no-show fee may be charged.
2. Cancellations by Providers
• Carpool/Carshare, Bikepool/Bikeshare, and Taxi Services:
If a provider (driver) cancels a booking due to unforeseen circumstances, passengers will be notified promptly, and no cancellation fee will be charged. Passengers will also receive a full refund of any pre-paid amount.
• Auto Services:
If an auto provider cancels a booking, passengers will be informed, and no cancellation fee will apply. A full refund of any pre-paid amount will be processed.
3. Refunds for Cancellations and No-Shows
• If a cancellation fee applies due to a late cancellation or passenger no-show, the fee will be deducted from the passenger’s account, and the remaining amount will be refunded.
• Refunds are typically processed within 15 business days, depending on your payment method and financial institution.

1. A pre-payment must have been made for the booking.
2. Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original transaction.
